Carol Elizabeth Meacham is a self-published science-fiction writer and postal worker currently living in Gainesville, Georgia, USA. Her published works are produced by her publishing-on-demand enterprise, Atrocious Adventure Publishing, and include the novels Machina Obscura and Aquaria, and the anthology The Curve of Shadow. The young adult science-fiction novel Telaon was completed in October 2008. Her current ongoing project is a series of novellas following the adventures and trials of a team of working-class cyborgs in the Jovian system and Mars collectively titled Zulu-5. Ms. Meacham also has posted numerous fan-fiction stories to several online archives including the Master-Apprentice archive (for Star Wars – The Phantom Menace), and Area 52 (for Stargate SG-1). Aside from science-fiction, Ms. Meacham maintains an interest in a diversity of subjects including philosophy, Jungian psychology, comparative religions, mythology, space exploration and colonization, computers, artificial intelligence, futurist studies, GLBT issues and current affairs.
In addition to writing, Carol produces her own podcast, The Atrocious Adventure Podcast, wherein she reads from her books and philosophizes about current events and matters of interest as well as events from her own life.
